FIRST IN FBiH Ilidža Municipality Begins Cadastral Survey Renewal with Aerial Photography of Vlakovo

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Following thorough preparations, establishment of the legal framework, and defined tasks, on December 24, 2021, aerial photography of Vlakovo, specifically the cadastral municipality of Vlakovo, marked the beginning of the cadastral survey renewal in the Ilidža Municipality area, which is of exceptional importance for the residents of our local community and can rightly be called a historic project.

Today's date will be remembered as a pioneering step by our local community, which will ultimately result in a Land Registry, an accurate, reliable, and unified record of real estate, the first of its kind in the Federation since the eighties of the last century, but also the first in the history of Ilidža.

The importance and significance of this project are perhaps best reflected in the interest shown by the residents of Vlakovo during the preparations for aerial photography.

After the Ilidža Municipal Council adopted the Decision on the Renewal of the Cadastral Survey in the Municipality of Ilidža at the end of September this year, an Agreement was signed with the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs, and obligations were defined for the implementation of this project.

"We have previously expressed our full commitment to improving the situation in our local community through cooperation with the highest levels of government, with a special emphasis on being the service to our citizens that they truly deserve. Today's aerial photography and the beginning of the cadastral survey renewal in the Vlakovo area can truly be called a historic day for the Ilidža Municipality, as well as for all its residents," said the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur.

The Municipal Mayor also emphasized that public real estate records are an extremely important starting point for the long-term development of the municipality, which is why it is important to effectively resolve the problems faced by citizens.

"The renewal of the cadastral survey will also create prerequisites for more adequate spatial planning, as well as for better management of construction land and other resources of our local community," said Mayor Muzur.
