First Party on Media Polls and Results

First Party issued a statement on pre-election media activities in BiH.

- Regarding the increasing phenomenon of electronic and print media in Bosnia and Herzegovina surveying citizens about their desired election winner or publishing results of such polls conducted by alleged independent public opinion agencies, First Party warns citizens not to fall for these types of polls, as they are the result of a deliberate strategy by political entities that have been an indispensable political factor that has dragged this country to the bottom for the past twenty years - it was stated from First Party.

They further state that the poll questions are deliberately posed in a way that citizens can only choose a few political parties that have been alternating in power for the past twenty years.

- These polls leave no room for smaller or new political entities, and this is precisely the thought-out political-marketing concept by which, through daily bombardment with poll results, the view should be built among voters that the only possible choice is within a few political entities. All of this is especially true because the voters in these polls are activists from the election headquarters of the ruling political parties. We remind the public that a total of 113 political entities have been verified for participation in these elections and that the voters of this country have a choice. At the same time, we call on the political activists of these parties to spend their energy on calling humanitarian numbers, as this way their spent energy and money will have some meaning. First Party also calls on the Communications Regulatory Agency to investigate such behavior of media and political entities and to determine whether it is in accordance with the Rulebook on Political Representation - state First Party, reports Patria.
