Dodik's first reaction after the verdict: I was sentenced to a year of 'their s**t'

(Patria) - A support rally for Milorad Dodik, the President of Republika Srpska, who was today found guilty by a first-instance verdict of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for disregarding the decisions of the High Representative, is being held in Banja Luka today. Miloš Lukić, acting director of the Official Gazette, was acquitted of the charges.

Dodik was sentenced to one year in prison and a six-year ban on political activity. In his first reaction, addressing the rally and those gathered, he said:

„We must be cheerful. I was sentenced to a year of their s**t, their prison, they say I am guilty. There is no reason for any concern. I have learned to deal with even harder things, so we will get through this too. This support and the image I see here are important to me,“ Dodik said, announcing that he would address the public again later.
