Is BiH implementing its SAA obligations and EC recommendations?

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The fourth meeting of the Subcommittee on Transport, Energy, Environment and Regional Development between the European Union and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held on Tuesday, 09/22/2020, via video conference.

From the BiH side, the meeting will be co-chaired by Mirza Hujić from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, and from the EU side by Detlev Boing from the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission. The meeting will, among other things, discuss the implementation of obligations from the Stabilization and Association Agreement and the recommendations of the European Commission related to transport, energy, environment and climate change, and regional development.

The Subcommittee on Transport, Energy, Environment and Regional Development is one of seven subcommittees, joint bodies of the EU and BiH, established in accordance with the SAA for the purpose of monitoring its implementation. Within it, issues related to chapters 14, 15, 21, 22, and 27 of the EU acquis are considered.
