VERIFICATION OF VICTORY BY ONE VOTE IN Bosanski Petrovac, Votes Will Be Recounted

(Patria) - The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bosanski Petrovac informed the public that the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC BiH) at today's 95th session made an order for a recount of votes in electoral unit 030 Bosanski Petrovac, where Bobana Velaga Lipić (SNSD) defeated Mahmut Jukić (SDA) by one vote.

- We consider the decision to recount the votes to be the only correct one for removing all doubts about the electoral process in Bosanski Petrovac, given that our candidate for mayor is trailing the SNSD candidate by only one vote - stated the president of the Municipal Board of SDA Bosanski Petrovac, Ansela Husetić.

The recount of votes is scheduled for October 28, 2024, and the final outcome, regardless of the result, will be accepted by the SDA as the will of the citizens of Bosanski Petrovac. Husetić emphasized that transparency in the electoral process is of key importance for preserving citizens' trust in democratic institutions and the electoral system.
