Burglars ransack the apartment of writer Abdulah Sidran

Writer Abdulah Sidran had his apartment burgled last night in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Breka. The academic informed the wider public via the social network Facebook.

- The burglar who was tasked with 'doing' the upper floor and my study forgot his ID card on my desk, next to the computer, for which I sincerely thank him – Sidran wrote.

- I ask my friends, the good Sarajevo goldsmiths, and each of them individually, not to haggle too much when buying gold items if sellers come to them in the coming days. The gold is a family heirloom of my wife and its financial equivalent is completely irrelevant to me.

Whatever you buy from them, I will buy from you!

My wife's birthday is coming up soon, and I couldn't think of a nicer gift even in three hundred years! Thank you, brother burglars, thank you, dear friends, Sarajevo goldsmiths!

Many things can be stolen and taken from my home, but life's joy and cheerfulness - never! – Sidran added, Patria reports.
