Protest march in Sarajevo: 'Palestine you are not alone, Bosnia is always with you'

(Patria) - A protest march was held in Sarajevo in support of the people of Palestine.

Citizens gathered in Baščaršija, from where they proceeded in a peaceful march to the Square of the Children of Sarajevo.

The goal of the protest march is solidarity with the suffering people of Palestine who have been under constant brutal Israeli attacks since October 7 last year.

Citizens are carrying numerous flags and banners, some of which read "Palestine you are not alone, Bosnia is always with you", "Stop the genocide immediately", "Killing children and women is not defense".

Protest participants are saying that people must not stop talking about the horrors that Palestinians experience daily, especially in the upcoming days of the blessed month of Ramadan.

A humanitarian bazaar will also be held today at the Square of the Children of Sarajevo, where funds will be collected to help the people of Palestine.

Nearly 31,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7 in the Gaza Strip, and most of the population of that blockaded enclave has been displaced, facing a deep humanitarian crisis and food shortages.
