Protests in Banja Luka, resignation of the RS Government demanded

Around a thousand citizens held a protest in Banja Luka today, demanding the resignation of the Government of Republika Srpska, reports BN, agency Patria reports.

The protest gathering began, organized by "Restart Srpska", in Krajina Square in Banja Luka at 5:00 PM.

Instead of under the masks of the Minister of Education, Dane Malešević, the protest was held under umbrellas because it was raining continuously in Banja Luka today.

However, this did not prevent about a thousand citizens from gathering to support the demands that "Restart Srpska" sent to the Government of Republika Srpska more than 20 days ago, to which the executive authorities turned a deaf ear.

- From today, the main demand is the resignation of the RS Government, said Stefan Blagić, president of the "Restart Srpska" movement, at the beginning of the rally.

A protest column of about a thousand citizens headed from Krajina Square at 5:30 PM towards the administrative center of the RS Government, where the demands were presented.

The protest rally ended in front of the administrative center building, where the resignation of the Government of Republika Srpska was demanded.

Strong police forces were present around the government buildings, where the demonstrators who demanded the government's resignation arrived.

They carried banners and chanted "Down with the government", "Thieves", "Mile the thief"...

The police followed the column, and strong police forces were present around the government, threatening those who led the protests.
