Protests by demobilized soldiers in front of Parliament: We have three basic demands and we are not giving up on them

For more than three months, demobilized soldiers have been protesting in front of the building of the Government of the Federation of BiH, where they have also set up a tent settlement, and they are demanding that the Government of the Federation establish a unified register of soldiers, abolish the financing of veterans' associations, and introduce a veteran's allowance for all soldiers. Today, the soldiers are in front of the building of the FBiH Parliament, where a session of the House of Peoples is being held, reports Patria agency.

The soldiers' protest began at 10 AM, and the arrival of other demobilized soldiers is expected to support their colleagues. A large number of members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton are also present in front of the FBiH Parliament building.

- Peacefully, with dignity, bravely. This is the first line of defense for every soldier individually. We only want the truth and fairness - the gathered soldiers are sending their message.

A request has also been sent for their representatives to attend today's session, and they emphasize that they are not asking for anything impossible, but for basic demands that would resolve their future and the future of their families.

- We have officially submitted the demands. We have three basic positions, and if they do not allow us to enter, we will see what happens - the soldiers state.
