Warning protest by parents of Bosniak children: In Potočari, moisture drips on children, conditions are appalling

(Patria) - A meeting of parents of Bosniak children attending the First Elementary School Srebrenica was held last night in Srebrenica due to recent events in this town after photographs emerged of students glorifying Chetniks on school premises.

The conclusion of the meeting is that a warning protest by parents and children of Bosniak nationality will be held today, lasting one school period.

This was a gathering of dissatisfied parents of children attending elementary school in Srebrenica regarding the recent events at the school.

The parents met to respond to the spread of hatred, fascism and nationalism within the school facilities.

"We, all parents, in front of the school from the area of Srebrenica municipality, will hold a warning protest against the violation of children's rights and discrimination that is happening at the school," said parent representative Mirnes Zahirović.

On the other hand, the conditions prevailing at the school in Potočari are extremely inadequate. The photographs we are publishing show moisture, and parents claim that it is impossible to breathe in the classrooms.

"In Potočari, almost all the children are Bosniak. Obviously, the school principal is not interested in doing anything about this issue. The children are in very poor conditions. Moisture is literally dripping on them and they are inhaling an unbearable stench. Parents are powerless, this must be resolved," said one parent, claiming that this is segregation of Bosniaks.
