On the occasion of marking February 5 - Day of Remembrance for all citizens of Sarajevo killed during the siege of Sarajevo from 1992-1995, a Joint commemorative session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, the City Council of the City of Sarajevo and the municipal councils of the KS municipalities will be held today starting at 10:30 AM in the National Theatre, reports the BH News Agency Patria.
After the session, at 11:30 AM, a delegation of the City of Sarajevo, consisting of the Mayor of Sarajevo Ivo Komšić and the newly elected President of the City Council Suljo Agić, together with representatives of the state, federal, cantonal, municipal levels of government and family members, will pay tribute and lay wreaths at the memorial at the Markale market, where 21 years ago an aggressor's mortar shell killed 68 and seriously and lightly wounded 142 of our fellow citizens.
