Body of last reported missing person found in floods in Buturović Polje

(Patria) - Members of rescue services have found the last body they were searching for in Buturović Polje in the municipality of Konjic.

As confirmed to N1 by the Mayor of Konjic Osman Ćatić, the body of Ahmet Haketa, born in 1962, has been found.

His disappearance was reported on October 4. He went missing in Jablaničko Lake. Since then, teams have been searching the lake daily, with the search hampered by numerous deposits of material from houses, trees, cars, etc.

In total, 19 people died in the floods in the Jablanica area, four in the municipality of Konjic, and three in the municipality of Fojnica.

Yesterday, the funeral prayer and burial were held for 19 people who died in the floods in the Jablanica area.
