Solution Found for Gredelj Workers from Dobošnica

A meeting was held today at the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications where a solution was found for the workers of Gredelj - Rewom d.o.o. Dobošnica, who were victims of poor privatization and often had to protest demanding earned wages and payment of pension and health insurance, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

The meeting was attended by Federal Minister of Transport and Communications Enver Bijedić, representatives of the Management of the Public Enterprise Railways of FBiH (JP ŽFBiH), President of the Union of Independent Trade Unions of BiH Ismet Bajramović, President of the Union of Metalworkers of BiH Muhamed Hadžić, and workers of Gredelj - Rewom d.o.o. Dobošnica.

As stated by Amila Ćoralić, spokesperson for FMPK, it had been impossible for years to resolve property-legal issues since the owner of the company "Gredelj-Revom" from Dobošnica is the Railway Car Factory - "Gredelj" from Zagreb, which is in bankruptcy.

- It was decided that the workers from this company will be transferred to the workshop in Rajlovac, where they will remain until the new workshop, which will be owned by JP ŽFBiH and located in Banovići, is operational – added Ćoralić.

Minister Bijedić and members of the Management of JP ŽFBiH plan to visit the workshop in Banovići on Friday, where about thirty workers from Gredelj - Rewom d.o.o. Dobošnica will be employed.
