Large quantity of weapons, ammunition, explosives, and narcotics found

(Patria) - Taking measures and actions to shed light on and document the criminal offense from Article 166 of the Criminal Code of FBiH (Murder) to the detriment of M.R. from Sarajevo, which was committed on 12/12/2021 in the Pofalići area, municipality of Novo Sarajevo, based on a written Order of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, under the direct supervision of the acting prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, on 12/23/2021, police officers of the Criminal Police Sector, Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton searched an apartment in Malta street, municipality of Novo Sarajevo, which was used by the suspect A.J. from Sarajevo. During the search, the following items were found and temporarily confiscated:

- 10.39 kg of a white substance that resembles the narcotic drug speed in appearance,

- 4.8 kg of dry herbaceous substance that resembles the narcotic drug marijuana,

- 2 precision scales for measuring,

- one vacuum packing machine,

- 6 automatic rifles,

- one pistol,

- 2 silencers,

- 11 hand grenades,

- one fragmentation mine,

- 13 electric detonator caps,

- 2 rifle rounds,

- 4 rocket-propelled grenade launchers (zolja),

- about 1 kg of plastic explosives

- several magazines for firearms,

- about 600 rounds of ammunition of various calibers,

- a key coding device,

- a police uniform,

- police blinkers and

- several mobile phones.

Under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, police officers are continuing further work on shedding light on and documenting several criminal offenses for which the said person, who is in custody, is suspected.
