The promotion of the first "Online Traditional Cookbook of Sarajevo Bazaar" will be held on Wednesday, August 24, in the Stari Grad Municipality. This unique project was realized by the Stari Grad Municipality through the Local Development Sector, which prepared the entire project and established cooperation with the twin municipality Mamak from the Republic of Turkey, which is the investor, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
The online cookbook promotes traditional Old Town cuisine, but in a completely new and innovative way, through a smartphone application designed for Android and iPhone platforms. Stickers with QR codes have been placed at 25 catering establishments in the narrow Old Town core. Scanning these codes provides access to the application with all the contents of the "Online Traditional Cookbook of Sarajevo Bazaar".
At the promotion, the attendees will be addressed by the Mayor of Stari Grad Municipality, Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, and the director of the company BetaTel Studio, which developed the application, Elvir Salčinović. The promotion will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at 10:00 AM, in the Wedding Hall of the Stari Grad Municipality.
