Book promotion in honour of my late mother Rašida

On Monday, 29 December at 6 p.m. in the Gallery of the University of Doboj, a promotion of the books "Suze na mezaru", "Kapije života" and "Ispod duge" by author Mugdim Galijašević will be held, reports the Patria news agency.

-The promotion, which is actually in honour of my late mother Rašida (Džero) Mulalić, was organised with the help of the chief imam of Doboj, Bajra ef. Džafić. He will be one of the promoters, along with the excellent master Esmar Bašić, director of the General Library of Tešanj. The moderator will be Sedžida Bajramović Isaković, and along with reading excerpts from the books, she will read what the prominent writer Faiz Softić said about "Kapije života" at the promotion in Luxembourg, who, due to significant obligations, is unable to come to Doboj, explains Galijašević.

- The Mulalić family is respected and esteemed just as the Galijašević family is in Tešanj. I expect that friends of my family, my friends, and above all people who appreciate the written word and truth will come to the promotion. All three books, of which "Suza" has been translated into Turkish, speak about what happened to us, primarily to Bosniaks; they speak about our martyrs and defenders; they speak about us and our sufferings in the past, during the aggression, and now in the present day, says Galijašević.
