Prohić: Ljubić's statement is not clumsy, it's part of a strategy

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Psychologist and political analyst Ibrahim Prohić believes that the statement by Croatian Parliament representative Božo Ljubić is not a clumsy statement, but rather a strategic commitment of the political option to which he belongs.

"BiH is continuously attacked by its neighbors, Zagreb and Belgrade," Prohić told N1 television, reports Patria agency.

The Constitutional Court of BiH has ordered amendments to the Election Law of BiH concerning the appointment of delegates to the House of Peoples in FBiH. Political parties SDP, DF, SBB, SDA, and NS are seeking at least one delegate from each of the three constituent peoples in BiH for the House of Peoples in FBiH from each canton, while HDZ is seeking for representatives of the peoples to be elected only from those areas where they are the majority, which other parties assess as anti-European values and new ethnic divisions in the country. Ljubić threatens that if the law proposed by SDP and other political parties is adopted, it could lead to the disintegration of BiH and even conflict.

"Unfortunately, this is not an election campaign. This is a strategy that has been implemented for many years," Prohić assessed. He emphasized that BiH is a society that does not learn lessons from its recent past, and that citizens still live as they did in the nineties. He believes that the interference of Zagreb and Belgrade in BiH is constant, and the only difference is in intensity.

"Why is BiH interesting to them? The answer is very simple. Both countries have very inefficient governments. They are unable to make their systems efficient, and to mask this, they occasionally deal with BiH. The Croatian president said that caring for Croats in BiH is a strategic task. Why doesn't she properly care for Croats in Croatia? In one year, they lose a county. BiH is a pawn for settling scores and a topic that always raises tensions," said Dr. Prohić.
