Program of the event 'Defense of BiH – Igman 2025 – from Independence Day to Statehood Day'

(Patria) - Sarajevo Memorial Center invites all citizens, families of martyrs and fallen soldiers, veterans, veterans' associations, institutions, and representatives of all levels of government to attend the religious program of the event 'Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Igman 2025 – from Independence Day to Statehood Day', the central event of which – Prayer for the Homeland – will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, starting at 12:00 PM, on the plateau of the war mosque on Igman.

The religious program of the event will take place in several stages, starting on Wednesday, July 30, with content in religious buildings of various denominations in Sarajevo, culminating traditionally on the first Friday of August (August 1) with the Friday prayer and a solemn prayer gathering on Igman, a symbol of resistance, faith, and hope from the time of the siege of Sarajevo:

Free bus transport to Igman on the day of the central religious program of the event – Friday, August 1, 2025, is provided for all interested citizens of Sarajevo Canton and surrounding municipalities.
