Program of the event “Defence of BiH - Igman 2015”

There are three days left until the event "Defence of BiH - Igman 2015", and as the Organizing Committee points out, all preparations are proceeding without major problems, reports the Patria News Agency. 

During the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mount Igman was the only route to Sarajevo, which is why one of the main goals of the Army of Republika Srpska during that period was to capture Igman and thus completely block the capital of BiH.

The fall of Igman would mean the fall of Sarajevo, i.e., the fall of the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes NAP.

Thousands of former soldiers of the Army of RBiH, as well as their families, will visit Igman on August 6 and 7, when they will remember the hardest moments during the aggression against BiH.

The Sarajevo Canton is the organizer of the event "Defence of BiH – Igman 2015" in financial and all other aspects, and contributions were also made by Sarajevo municipalities, the City of Sarajevo, the Federal Ministry for Veterans' Affairs, public enterprises, and numerous media houses, writes NAP.
