After a brief respite, meteorologists predict a new deterioration in weather for the following week. Renowned Slovenian meteorologist Marko Korošec has issued a rather serious warning for the weather awaiting us over the next three days.

"The last two weeks have shown an extraordinary weather pattern in central Europe. Numerous severe weather events with tornadoes, giant hail, flash floods and destructive winds have devastated the Alpine region, northern Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and the central Balkans.

"Weather models are already hinting at another frontal system that will appear in central Europe on Monday.
