"The last two weeks have shown an extraordinary weather pattern in central Europe. Numerous severe weather events with tornadoes, giant hail, flash floods and destructive winds have devastated the Alpine region, northern Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and the central Balkans.

"Weather models are already hinting at another frontal system that will appear in central Europe on Monday. From Monday to Wednesday, a multi-day severe weather event is expected in central Europe with the Alpine regions, Italy, and the northern and central part of the Balkan Peninsula. Strong thunderstorms are expected, including supercells with very large to giant hail, tornadoes, flash floods and destructive winds," forecasts Severe weather.
