At the 24th session of the Senate of the University of Sarajevo, Professor Muharem Avdispahić, Rector of the University of Sarajevo, presented Prof. Dr. Smail Čekić with the "Medal of the University of Sarajevo" award, reports the Patria News Agency.
The Medal of the University of Sarajevo was awarded to Professor Čekić for his exceptional contribution to the establishment and work of the Institute for Research of Crimes Against Humanity and International Law of the University of Sarajevo and for his scientific research achievements in the fields of research of crimes against humanity and international law.
