Professional Fire Brigade of Sarajevo Canton celebrates 143 years of heroic service

(Patria) - The Professional Fire Brigade of Sarajevo Canton today celebrates 143 years since its founding, since when true heroes from the street have been protecting and defending their
fellow citizens and their Sarajevo from fires and flames.

As far back as 1883, during the Austro-Hungarian rule, the first fire brigade in Sarajevo was founded, for which a building was constructed that today houses the headquarters of the Professional Fire Brigade.

“We are honored to have true heroes in our ranks, who make themselves available to all of us every day and who are ready to help at any moment.

On my behalf and on behalf of the Management Board of the Independent Trade Union of State Employees and Officials of Sarajevo Canton, I wish you a happy 143rd anniversary,” said the President of the Trade Union, Elvis Zornić.
