Bail restrictions extended for suspects in 'Spengavanje' case

(Patria) - The Special Department of the Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the proposal of the acting federal prosecutor, has issued a decision determining the continued need for the application of certain bail restrictions previously imposed on suspects in the case against Vahidin Munjić and others, writes Faktor.

By the Court's decision, suspects Arijana Huseinović-Ajanović and Ervin Mušinović are still prohibited from performing certain official duties: Huseinović-Ajanović from performing any official function within the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Mušinović from performing any official function within the Federal Police Administration (FUP) and the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Furthermore, suspects Vahidin Munjić, Muhamed Ohranović, and Ervin Mušinović are prohibited from visiting or approaching the official premises of the FUP and the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs within a distance of less than 100 meters, while suspect Arijana Huseinović-Ajanović is prohibited from approaching the official premises of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina within a distance of less than 100 meters.

The Court has simultaneously imposed a ban on mutual meetings between suspects Vahidin Munjić, Muhamed Ohranović, Arijana Huseinović-Ajanović, and Ervin Mušinović, as well as a ban on meetings with suspect Mirela Bubalo and certain other individuals, with the obligation to maintain a mutual distance of at least 100 meters.

The competent police authorities will monitor compliance with the imposed measures, and the suspects have been warned that detention may be imposed if they violate the imposed measures.

By the same decision, the bail restrictions that applied to suspects Vahidin Munjić and Muhamed Ohranović, which concerned the prohibition of performing official duties within the FUP, were lifted.

Munjić and Ohranović have, in the meantime, retired, so there is no longer a need for the aforementioned prohibition measure.
