Seized property sold for KM 225,040

(Patria) - In the enforcement procedure, the Cantonal Tax Administration Novi Travnik sold seized property of taxpayer debtors in the total amount of KM 225,040.92, for the collection of due public revenues. The property of taxpayer debtors sold was: "Jurčević" d.o.o Vitez worth KM 25,705.92, ATP "Špedicija" d.d. Bugojno for KM 196,335.00, and the property of taxpayer "Tomdar" d.o.o. Kreševo for KM 3,000.00.

"In the Cantonal Tax Administration Novi Travnik, the property of taxpayer debtors "Auto kuća Buba" d.o.o Vitez, "Buba Commerce" d.o.o. Vitez, "Dekor" d.o.o. Vitez and "Samoborka-Vatrostalna" d.o.o. Busovača, PPUP "Grad prom" d.o.o. Travnik and "Nail" d.o.o. from Donji Vakuf was also offered for sale, but it remained unsold due to a lack of interested buyers. The financial resources generated from the public sale of seized property, depending on the type of debt for public revenues that taxpayer debtors failed to settle within the prescribed deadlines, were paid into the accounts of extra-budgetary funds: the Federal Pension and Disability Insurance Institute, the Federal Health Insurance and Reinsurance Institute, the Federal Employment Bureau, and into the budgets of cantons and municipalities," announced the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Public sales of seized property were also held in the Cantonal Tax Administrations: Mostar, Tuzla, Sarajevo, Orašje, and Bihać. The seized property remained unsold because there were no interested buyers, or the offered price for the purchase of the property was unacceptable, as it was significantly lower than the estimated value. The Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is undertaking all measures and actions to collect the due obligations from public revenues.

However, in the enforcement procedure, seized property is very difficult to sell, or practice has shown that there are generally no interested buyers for its purchase. If they do appear, interested buyers try to purchase the property at a significantly lower price than the estimated value. The reason for this is the economic crisis, which has reduced the purchasing power of legal entities, entrepreneurs, and citizens, but also the solidarity of taxpayers who do not want to buy seized property.
