At the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE) today, shares of the Sarajevo Tobacco Factory owned by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina were sold at an extraordinary auction.
The auction was previously scheduled for September 1, but was postponed to September 15 after the insistence of the president of the Alliance for a Better Future (SBB), Fahrudin Radončić, who requested additional analyses from the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina before the sale, to prevent the shares from being sold at an unrealistically low price.
However, even after that, everything was done according to the original plan devised by the Government under the leadership of Fadil Novalić.
- As a coalition leader, it is my duty to state my financial, moral, and political position. I will not break the coalition because of this; it is the Government's decision and its competence. I have already distanced myself from it, and even if I wanted to, we can no longer stop it legally – Radončić stated.
