Prodanović quite openly: SNSD has turned into a corrupt criminal-mafia organization

(Patria) - The Mayor of Bratunac, Lazar Prodanović, a high-ranking official of the ruling SNSD, gave an extremely emotional speech yesterday before the councilors of the Bratunac Municipal Assembly. The councilors, due to lack of a quorum, did not adopt the rebalanced budget for this year, which jeopardizes the further financing of public institutions in that city.

Prodanović, opening his heart to the councilors in the assembly hall, lashed out at his political party, which, according to him, is most responsible for the crisis in the functioning of government in Bratunac.

"Here are the advisor to the President of Republika Srpska who behaves like that, the director of a republican institution, they called me on the phone, they are not for anything. On Friday, they said there was nothing questionable in the agenda items. I spoke with everyone individually. What do they want? For me to steal for them? Is that what they want? For me to work for their mafiosi?", Prodanović asked.

He spoke very honestly and sharply about his party, claiming that it has turned into a corrupt criminal-mafia organization, which works against the general interest, whose cadres are corrupt and only care about personal interests.

Visibly angry and disappointed, Lazar Prodanović, dissatisfied with the work of the President of the Bratunac Municipal Assembly as well as his associates, claims that SNSD is playing games with Bosniaks and deliberately raising tensions, so that the plundering of the people goes unnoticed.

Prodanović, among other things, claims that the problem in Bratunac is not with other political parties, but with SNSD.

"The problem here is neither with United Srpska, nor with DNS. The problem here is with SNSD. And who is SNSD? Corrupt structures, linked in these stories, achieving their goals through wives, through brothers, through relatives, through godfathers. That makes no sense anymore. I don't know what these people expect from me? That I be a signatory to their mafia deals. They get rich unscrupulously, and they report small, pathetic individuals," Prodanović said.

Lazar Prodanović particularly emphasized that his daughter is ashamed that he is in SNSD.

"My daughter asks me how I am not ashamed to ever sit somewhere with such people. She has told me that several times and she is right. I have dedicated my life to the public interest. Therefore, you children must fight for your lives in the Netherlands, in Serbia. There is no place for you here with these kinds of people, anywhere and never," Prodanović emphasized.

He also said, among other things, that he tries not to say everything he thinks, as much as possible.

"It's even worse than what I've said now. It's even worse, even darker. This is not an incident. I have been thinking about this for days," Prodanović stated.
