Assessment: Landslide damage in Bare nearly one million KM

The total estimated amount of damage caused by the landslide in the settlement of „Bare“ is 820,592.70 KM, announced by the Municipality of Kakanj, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The estimated amount refers to damage incurred on residential and other buildings, furnishings (furniture, machines, tools and equipment), agriculture, electrical power infrastructure, and landslide remediation.

The total estimated amount refers to the following items:

- 10 apartments were completely destroyed with an estimated amount of 185,400.00 KM, while 4 apartments were partially damaged with an estimated amount of 4,310.00 KM, totaling 189,710.00 KM;
- 19 other buildings were completely destroyed with an estimated amount of 59,187.70 KM;
- Completely destroyed furnishings (furniture, machines, tools and equipment) were estimated at 119,400.00 KM;
- 307 trees of long-standing plantations were completely destroyed with an estimated amount of 28,142.00 KM;
- A total of 29 animals died, including: 2 pregnant cows, 1 heifer, 11 sheep, 5 goats, 6 domestic laying hens, 4 dogs, with an estimated amount of 10,910.00 KM;
- Damage to electrical power infrastructure was estimated at 2,223.00 KM;
- Landslide remediation and prevention of high-risk landslides was estimated at 400,000.00 KM;
- Working capital was estimated at 7,160.00 KM;
- Other material goods were estimated at 3,860.00 KM.
