New demands read out, to be delivered to KS Government: Large protests on Saturday, February 21st at 12 PM

(Patria) - Following today's protests by students and pupils, there will be a two-day break, and new large protests have been announced for Saturday, February 21st at 12 PM.

Today's protests concluded on the main thoroughfare with the reading of new demands that will be submitted to the Government of Sarajevo Canton.

A representative of high school students read out the new demands:

- We demand urgent remediation of evident security risks,

- Appointment of professional and lawful managers to all vacant positions in competent institutions

- Introduction of clear criteria for the allocation of social assistance, free coupons, and textbooks so that assistance goes exclusively to those who need it, not to children of officials and high-income individuals who do not need such support, and that these funds be directed towards priorities and more useful purposes

- Budget revision according to priorities, security, and redirection of part of the funds to the renewal of the vehicle fleet and regular maintenance

- Publicly announced plan with all names of responsible persons, concrete measures, and clearly defined deadlines of 30/60/90 days, which will be available to all citizens.

An invitation for Saturday's protest in front of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been extended to all citizens, professors, teachers, pupils, parents...
