Read who the new members of the SDA Main Board are

(Patria) - At the Eighth Congress of the Party of Democratic Action held yesterday, new members of the party's Main Board were elected.

The Main Board is the highest body of the SDA between two Congress sessions and has 115 members. Some of them are members by virtue of their position, while others are elected at the Congress.

The new members of the Main Board are:

The delegates at the Congress yesterday elected Bakir Izetbegović as president of the SDA and nine vice-presidents: Edin Ramić, Aida Obuća, Muamer Zukić, Haris Zahiragić, Mirsad Mujić, Mirsad Zaimović, Šerif Špago, Fadil Novalić and Ramiz Salkić.

Members of the Main Board by virtue of their position are the president of the SDA, presidents of cantonal/regional SDA organisations and the president of the SDA Brčko District of BiH, 18 in total.

The SDA Congress elects 83 members of the Main Board from cantonal/regional organisations and the SDA Brčko District of BiH organisation, according to the structure determined by the SDA Main Board based on criteria grounded in election results.

Upon the proposal of the SDA president, members of the Main Board elected at the Congress and members of the Main Board by virtue of their position elect an additional 14 members of the Main Board to ensure more balanced representation of all layers of membership (ensuring ethnic, qualification, gender, age representation and representation of SDA members from abroad).
