
SARAJevo, (Patria) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Zoran Tegeltija spoke today in Sarajevo with the Prime Ministers of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković and the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić regarding the current situation concerning the appearance of coronavirus.
At the meeting, attended by Council of Ministers ministers - Civil Affairs Ankica Gudeljević and Security Fahrudin Radončić - additional measures were considered with the aim of preventing the appearance, spread, and suppression of the infectious disease Covid-19. A recommendation was given to the Minister of Security to introduce a temporary ban on entry into BiH for foreign nationals coming from areas with intense transmission of coronavirus. This applies to persons who have stayed in Italy, as well as certain provinces of the People's Republic of China, South Korea, and Iran.
It was emphasized at the meeting that the epidemiological situation in the country is not dramatic and that competent institutions are taking all necessary preventive measures in accordance with the recommendations of epidemiologists and the World Health Organization, and an appeal was sent to all citizens to adhere to the instructions of the ministries of health and health institutions, as well as to avoid travel to countries with increased transmission of coronavirus.
