Provisional Board of Directors of KCUS requests action from the FBiH Government regarding the appointment of Ismet Gavrankapetanović

(Patria) - The Provisional Board of Directors of KCUS at yesterday's session also discussed public gatherings of the KS Healthcare Workers' Union regarding the situation and operations at KCUS.

The Provisional Board of Directors of KCUS fully supports the rights of workers organized in unions to freely express their demands concerning workers' rights without any pressure.

The opinion of the Provisional Board of Directors of KCUS is that this Union is exceeding its legal framework of operation and is manipulating the public by presenting false information. Therefore, the Provisional Board of Directors of KCUS is of the opinion that it will react with defamation lawsuits to any further abuse of union activities for personal gain, especially for presenting untrue claims.

We remain open to dialogue with the four Unions operating at KCUS within the legal framework, rights, and competencies.

The Provisional Board of Directors of KCUS adopted a Conclusion requesting the FBiH Government to resolve the legal situation in the procedure of appointing the General Director of KCUS, i.e., to pass a Decision granting prior consent to the Decision of the Provisional Board of Directors of KCUS on the appointment of the General Director, no later than November 27, 2024, when the Provisional Board of Directors of KCUS will hold a session.
