ZDK Economic Delegation Visited Iran Expo 2025

(Patria) - From April 28 to May 2, 2025, the Seventh Exhibition of the Export Potential of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Iran Expo 2025) was held in Tehran, attended by 2,500 companies, 36 ministers, 30 presidents of chambers of commerce, and 98 heads of specialized trade associations.

This year's Iran Expo 2025 witnessed a huge response from international institutions, companies, and traders from over 100 countries, thus presenting a different image of Iran to the world.

At the invitation of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bosnia and Herzegovina, extended to the Chamber of Commerce of Zenica-Doboj Canton, an economic delegation from Zenica-Doboj Canton, led by the Chamber of Commerce of Zenica-Doboj Canton, attended the Iran Expo 2025 event.

The delegation included Diana Babić - Chamber of Commerce of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Esmir Bašić - Ministry of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Šaban Ibrišimović - Tourist Board of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Sanela and Kenan Beširević - JUNIOR EKO TERMIK d.o.o. Tešanj, Bakir Šestić - Fiting d.o.o. Zenica, Dženan Šabanović - JKP Gradska groblja d.o.o. Visoko, Adela Bešo Memagić - Pobjeda d.d. Tešanj, Sabit Frljak - Sanex d.o.o. Breza, and Ahmed Turbo - Termo-beton d.o.o. Breza.

During their stay at Iran Expo 2025, a large number of B2B meetings were held between representatives of the ZDK economic delegation and companies and institutions present at the fair. A meeting was held with the organizer of Iran Expo 2025, with whom discussions were held on the possibilities of improving cooperation in the field of the EXPO fair, as well as the possibilities of Iranian representatives attending the ZEPS 2025 fair.

As part of the fair activities, the ZDK economic delegation visited the Tehran Chamber of Commerce and the BiH Embassy in Tehran.

The director of the Tourist Board of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Šaban Ibrišimović, who had a special visit program with tour operators from Asia from the Middle, Near, and Far East regions, as well as from countries formed after the collapse of the USSR and from North and Central African countries, attended numerous B2B meetings where the possibilities and available tourist capacities of BiH and the tourist potentials of ZDK were presented.

By the visit of the ZDK economic delegation to Iran Expo 2025, as the only economic delegation from BiH, the Chamber of Commerce of Zenica-Doboj Canton strives to contribute to assessing the possibilities of all forms of economic and tourist cooperation between ZDK and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
