Preparations for the event 'Defence of BiH – Igman 2015' are proceeding according to plan

Less than a month remains until the event "Defence of BiH - Igman 2015", and as emphasised today at the meeting of the Organising Committee, preparations are proceeding without major problems, reports the Patria news agency. 

During the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mount Igman was the only route through which Sarajevo could be reached, which is why one of the main goals of the Army of Republika Srpska during the aggression was to capture Igman and thus completely blockade the capital of BiH.

The fall of Igman would mean the fall of Sarajevo, that is, the fall of the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes NAP.
Thousands of former fighters of the Army of the Republic of BiH, as well as their families, will visit Igman on 6 and 7 August, when they will remember the most difficult moments during the aggression against BiH.

The Sarajevo Canton is the organiser of the event "Defence of BiH – Igman 2015" in financial and every other sense, and contributions have also been made by the Sarajevo municipalities, the City of Sarajevo, the Federal Ministry for Veterans' Affairs, public enterprises, and numerous media outlets, writes NAP.
