PREPARING A CRIMINAL OFFENSE: Sarajevo Prosecutor's Office seeks detention for two of Caesar's associates, measures against the third

(Patria) - The acting prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office proposed to the Municipal Court in Sarajevo to order one-month detention for Alen Fazlagić and Elvir Javorovac. Detention was proposed for them due to the danger that the suspects might complete the criminal offense while at liberty, and they are suspected of preparing it.

The suspect Seluedin Duraković was proposed a ban on mutual communication, a ban on leaving Sarajevo Canton, and a ban on visiting a catering facility in Sarajevo.

The portal Istraga previously reported that this trio was apprehended by FUP members due to the preparation of a criminal offense, while Duraković is also suspected of possession of narcotic drugs.

These are associates of Dino Muzaferović, known as Caesar, who planned to carry out a murder in Sarajevo using a car bomb. Caesar directly manages the group from a prison in Slovenia.

They were previously released by the acting prosecutor from East Sarajevo, who did not request detention or any other restrictive measures, after they were apprehended by police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska.

Officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RS intercepted them in the area of Milići, after receiving information that unknown persons had taken over an explosive device in the Zvornik area. During the search of the vehicle, an improvised remote-controlled bomb with approximately 900 grams of explosives was found.

All apprehended individuals are citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and reside in the Sarajevo area.

All arrested individuals have been known to police agencies for years. Incidentally, Alan Fazlagić was arrested in February of last year when BiH police agencies acted on a request from the Slovenian judiciary. The operation was carried out as part of the investigation into the murder of Satko Kekić in Ljubljana. An indictment was later filed against Muzaferović for this murder.
