Special Police Unit teams of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton are searching the riverbed and banks of the Lašva and Bosna rivers for the fifth day to find the body of young Amar Kozlić, who, along with two friends, drove their car into the Lašva river on the night between Saturday and Sunday while returning from Vitez to Zenica, writes Patria.
As stated by Aldina Ahmić, spokesperson for the MUP ZDK, a number of officers from the Support Unit of the MUP SBK also joined the search today.
The car and the bodies of two young men, Huse Delić and Almen Begović, were recovered on Monday, while the body of the third young man was carried away by the water. Due to weather conditions and reduced visibility, the search is suspended in the afternoon hours.
On February 8, funeral prayers were held and the burial of the two deceased young men took place in Janjići.
