SARAJEVO, (Patria) - GSS Sarajevo members around 18:30 concluded the rescue operation of an injured female mountaineer from Bjelašnica.
The official phone of GSS BiH received a call that an injured female mountaineer was located at Lokvanjsko Lake on Bjelašnica mountain. The call was immediately forwarded to the GSS Station Sarajevo, which dispatched a duty team to the field. The exact location of the injured person was determined, and a team of 20 rescuers with all necessary equipment was moving towards the injured person to perform the necessary transport to a safe location.
The operation was concluded, and the injured female mountaineer was successfully evacuated.
