Principles of Operation for Members and Leadership: What the NBL Charter Contains

At today's Founding Assembly of the Independent Bosnian-Herzegovinian List, delegates adopted a Charter containing some of the fundamental principles that this political initiative will adhere to in its operations, reports Patria agency.

NBL calls on all individuals, organizations, and institutions in BiH to eliminate the current state of fragmentation and blockage of BiH society through decisive political, cultural, and economic action.

- All people of Bosnia and Herzegovina have an urgent obligation to take responsibility for their current situation and its change. All who desire a change from this unbearable state must recognize the necessity of returning the individual to the center of all action.

As stated in the Charter, there are three evident facts that testify to the unacceptable situation in BiH. These are poverty, a sense of political, cultural, and economic insecurity, and thirdly, the octopus of a horrifyingly corrupt and inefficient administration at all levels of the state order.

- Such a situation must be changed by the new actions of BiH people. This is an irrevocable demand to all of us to initiate, persistently lead, and strengthen such a change.

The Charter also states that it is necessary to restore hope to people for a future they will consider their own good.

- To overcome the existing situation, a thorough critical re-examination of all aspects of past policies is necessary.

We, the members and leadership of the Independent Bosnian-Herzegovinian List, publicly express our readiness and determination to advocate for changes in the current political, cultural, and economic situation in the country. We make such a decision in accordance with the best interests of the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are ready to work for such a commitment.
