Adjust Your Driving to Road Conditions

(Patria) - According to collected data, traffic in Bosnia and Herzegovina this morning is moving on wet or damp roads. Fog reduces visibility in the wider areas of: Mostar, Čapljina, Vitez, Glamoč, Odžak, along the river courses of northeastern and eastern Bosnia, as well as on the Ripač-Vrtoče section. We advise extremely cautious driving, adjusted to current road conditions.

Movement of all vehicles is prohibited over the bridge on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina main road. Vehicles with a total weight of up to 3.5 tons may use the roads via Kalinovik (which has 19 km of gravel road) and Grebak, while freight vehicles must go via Rogatica and Goražde.

Due to construction works on the noise barrier on the A-1 highway section Sarajevo North - Podlugovi, traffic is moving only in the passing lane.

On the Jablanica-Bildinje main road, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons remains suspended.

At border crossings, passenger vehicle traffic is flowing with short waiting times.

Due to passenger registration under the new system of exiting and entering European Union countries (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer waiting times are possible at border crossings.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. As of December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing is open for all vehicle categories. At the Šepak border crossing, traffic is prohibited for all freight vehicles.
