An anonymous person threatened the president of Merhamet in Bosanska Dubica Jasmin Spahić, via the social network Facebook.
A certain user of this social network, who signed as „Kozarska dubica“ said that Spahić could get into trouble, as well as his family, if he does not respect the Republika Srpska, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
Spahić in an earlier interview for Patria warned that the authorities in the Republika Srpska are doing nothing to improve the position of returnees, Bosniaks and Croats in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He said that returnees in the RS find it hardest to bear the fact that they have difficulty finding employment, and because of these problems, and despite their great desire to stay in their homes, they are often unable to endure it.
The anonymous social network user invited Spahić to the celebration of the RS Day, which Bosniaks oppose because it refers to January 9, 1992, when the persecution, imprisonment, abuse and killing of Bosniaks began.
Inciting hatred on social networks is punishable under the Criminal Code of the RS, writes NAP.
