Reception in Pale Municipality: Sikiraš received a watch, housing issue also promised to be resolved

The Pale Municipality today hosted a reception for the golden cadet of the Bosnia and Herzegovina basketball team Njegoš Sikiraš, and the Mayor of the Municipality Miodrag Kovačević and the President of the Pale Municipal Assembly Predrag Vučićević presented him with a men's sports watch, while other forms of assistance were also discussed, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

As the spokesperson of the Pale Municipality Dubravka Borovčanin told the Patria agency, another type of award, most likely financial, will be proposed at the next session of the Pale Municipal Assembly.

- It was discussed to resolve his housing issue, and the City of East Sarajevo will also participate - said Borovčanin.

- Njegoš should be a role model and example for young people of how strong will and persistent work can lead to top success both in sports and in all other areas - said Kovačević.

Sikiraš thanked the representatives of the Pale Municipality for the reception, saying that this support means a lot to him from his fellow citizens and the city where he took his first basketball steps.

After the reception in the Municipal building, they all walked together to the sports hall.

Let us remind, Sikiraš was selected in the top five of the European Championship along with captain Džanan Musa, who is also the MVP.
