SARAJEVO, (Patria) - After yesterday's meeting between SDA and SNSD delegations ended without any agreement, Staša Košarac, an SNSD representative, said today that the SDA's proposal to form a new ministry at the state level was rejected.
He stated that the proposal is unacceptable for SNSD.
"If they need positions for some Bosniaks to remain in the Council of Ministers or be appointed, then they will have to find a new partner. A new ministry is not in accordance with the Constitution, and we will not agree to that," said Košarac.
As we unofficially learn, SDA proposed the eventual formation of a Ministry of Agriculture or Culture.
Next week, a meeting of the presidents of SDA, HDZ, and SNSD should be held regarding the formation of government, given that more than six months have passed since the General Elections.
