Proposal for amendments to the Election Law of BiH to be considered by the House of Peoples in accordance with the Constitution and legal system of BiH

(Patria) - At the 14th session of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH), conformity with the Constitution and legal system of BiH was established, and the principles of the Bill on Amendments to the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by the House of Representatives of the PSBiH, were supported.

The Committee established conformity with the Constitution and legal system of BiH for the Bill on Amending the Law on Foreigners, submitted by the House of Representatives of the PSBiH, proposed by MP Nihad Omerović.

The session of the House of Peoples of the PS BiH is scheduled for 12:15 PM, and SNSD has already announced that they will not support the SDA's proposal, which has already been adopted by the House of Representatives of the PS BiH and concerns the integrity package of the election process.

Announcements are getting louder that by the end of this month, the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt will once again resort to his Bonn powers and impose amendments to the Election Law of BiH because the authorities have not done so within the deadline he set for them.
