14 years ago, the Hague Tribunal indicted Milošević

The Hague Tribunal indicted Slobodan Milošević, former leader of the Serbs, on November 23, 2001, with the third and most serious indictment, accusing him of crimes against humanity, violations of the laws or customs of war, and Geneva Conventions in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the early 1990s, writes the BH News Agency Patria. 

The first two indictments against Milošević related to crimes committed in Croatia and Kosovo, and the third to crimes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where a large number of Bosniaks were killed in the most monstrous ways, women were raped and killed, as were children.

Milošević's trial began on December 12, 2002, but it was never completed due to Milošević's death on March 11, four years later, when the former President of Serbia was found dead in his UN cell in Scheveningen, writes Patria.
