The story of Tuzla's development also on Turkish TRT

Over the past few days, a news team from Turkish Radio Television TRT has been in Tuzla with the intention of filming footage and stories on the spot and through that material presenting the city of Tuzla to the Turkish public, reports the Patria news agency.

The five-member team consisting of: Ahmet Hamdi Šišman – journalist, Ilker Akkaya - journalist assistant, Adis Patković – cameraman and Džanela Trebo – producer, which produces special shows, has visited almost all significant cultural sites and events across Europe, and the backbone of the show being filmed about Tuzla will be the events that marked the metamorphosis of the city.

During their stay in Tuzla, the TRT journalists expressed a desire to record an interview with the mayor, Jasmin Imamović, who during his term, as they said, managed to transform Tuzla from a mining-industrial zone into a true tourist oasis in the region of southeastern Europe.

The mayor Imamović introduced the journalists to the available values and potentials of Tuzla through the political, economic, social, tourist and cultural spheres.

The stay of the Turkish journalists will certainly have a positive impact on the attractiveness of Tuzla and its position on the regional tourist market, which it deserves based on its exceptionally rich cultural heritage, excellent location and investments in new accommodation capacities.
