Premature submission of requests for recount of ballots

(Patria) - The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina will, in accordance with Article 5.29a of the Election Law of BiH, publish preliminary results every day at 15:00 until Saturday, 12.10.2024.

Final election results will follow only after the results from regular polling stations, absentee polling stations, mobile team voting results, results of voting on unconfirmed ballots, and results from abroad are consolidated.

Only after the Central Election Commission of BiH publishes the final election results, the entities specified in Article 5.30, paragraph (1) of the Election Law of BiH may, within three days, submit a request for a recount of ballots, under the conditions and in the manner prescribed by that article.

The Central Election Commission of BiH is currently publishing preliminary results, and therefore it is premature to submit requests for a recount of ballots.
