Searches in the KS Government Building, Ministry of Higher Education due to disputed employment, incentives, co-financing of works

(Patria) - The Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office confirmed this morning that searches at several locations continued today. Searches are being conducted in the building of the Sarajevo Canton Government, the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth of KS, the Professional Service for Joint Affairs, and the University of Sarajevo.

"Late last night, searches were completed at the Faculties of Dentistry, Economics, Mechanical Engineering, and at the Cantonal Inspectorate for Higher Education. As part of the continuation of the operation codenamed 'Envelope', certain documentation and phones of the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry in Sarajevo and the Chief Inspector for Higher Education in KUIP KS were seized.

Searches are continuing at several locations today. In addition to illegal employment, searches are also being conducted due to suspected disputed payment of incentives to employees of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth of KS, co-financing of certain works or projects, and appointments to working groups.

The premises of the aforementioned ministry, then the KS Government, the Professional Service for Joint Affairs, and the University of Sarajevo are being searched due to the documentation of the appointment of Muhamed Ajanović as Dean," the KS Prosecutor's Office announced.
