Searches at Holand taxi: Four individuals detained for questioning over organized crime

(Patria) - By order of the Special Department for Combating Corruption, Organized and Inter-Cantonal Crime of the Supreme Court of FBiH, and under the supervision of the acting Federal Prosecutor of the Special Department of the Federal Prosecutor's Office of FBiH, members of the Federal Police Administration yesterday evening conducted searches of several facilities in the Canton of Sarajevo used by the taxi service Holand taxi.

During the searches, four individuals were brought to the premises of the Federal Police Administration for questioning on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of organized crime in connection with illegal trade and money laundering, and certain documentation relevant to the investigation was temporarily seized.

It is suspected that this company has been illegally providing taxi services for a longer period.

In addition to the Federal Police Administration, the Tax Administration of FBiH is also providing assistance in the case.

As announced by the FUP, the detained individuals have been handed over to the jurisdiction of the prosecutor's office, which will request pre-trial detention from the Supreme Court of FBiH.
