(Patria) - Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton and the State Investigation and Protection Agency of BiH have started searches at at least twenty locations. The targets are individuals connected to Edin Gačanin Tito's drug cartel.
Special forces, as Istraga has learned, raided the house of businessman Gordan Memija, who is also the godfather of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Elmedin Konaković. Memija's company, Foto Art, is also being searched.
In addition to him, members of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton also raided the house of Mustafa Selmanović, head of the Special Police Unit of the Federal Police Administration.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH is leading the operation.
The Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton could not provide information about this operation.
