Mostly cloudy with rain, sleet in higher areas

On Wednesday, Bosnia and Herzegovina will experience mostly cloudy weather with rain, and sleet and snow in higher areas. During the day, in some lower areas of northwestern Bosnia, rain will turn into sleet and snow, according to the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

- Towards the end of the day and during the night, due to falling temperatures, rain will also turn into sleet and snow in eastern areas. More intense precipitation is expected in western and some central parts. Wind in Bosnia will be light to moderate from the south, and in Herzegovina, strong southeast. Morning temperatures will range from 0 to 6 degrees Celsius, up to 10 in the south, and the highest daily temperatures will be from 2 to 11 degrees Celsius, up to 14 in the south.

In Sarajevo, it will be mostly cloudy with rain. During the night, rain may turn into sleet. The morning temperature will be around 3 degrees Celsius, and the highest daily temperature will be around 7 degrees Celsius.

With unfavorable biomeeteorological conditions, most of the population will be in a worse mood, and the gloomy and depressing weather could cause difficulties for meteoropaths in the form of headaches, nervousness, and lack of concentration. Due to the cooling, problems may occur for people with ischemic heart disease, as well as asthmatics. It is advisable to reduce activities and take care to dress appropriately.
