Drug trafficking: Igor Lečić and Denis Tabaković plead guilty in plea agreements

Plea agreements with the prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH were reached by the accused: Igor Lečić aka Lećo, born on 16.08.1977.  in Mostar,  residing  in Čapljina, citizen of BiH and Denis Tabaković,  born on 28.01.1979.  in Čapljina, residing in Čapljina, previously convicted, citizen of BiH, reports the Patria news agency.

 

The accused pleaded guilty to committing the criminal offense of organized crime in connection with the criminal offense of unauthorized trafficking in narcotic drugs.

In accordance with the agreements, the accused Igor Lečić agreed that the Court of BiH determine and impose a prison sentence of one year, while the accused Denis Tabaković agreed that the Court of BiH impose a prison sentence ranging from two years to two years and six months.

Furthermore, the accused agreed that the Court of BiH make a decision on the confiscation of items used in the commission of criminal offenses.

By pleading guilty under the agreements, the accused decided to testify about all facts known to them in this criminal case and about all perpetrators, co-perpetrators and accomplices in the commission of these criminal offenses who are known to them and in which criminal offenses they participated.

By signing the agreements, the accused confirm that they gave the guilty plea voluntarily, consciously and with understanding, without any coercion or persuasion.

Under the agreements, the accused waive their right to a trial and the right to appeal the criminal sanction imposed on them by the Court of BiH. The agreements have been forwarded to the Court of BiH, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH announced.
